Cairns Training Service recommends that all nurses maintain their continuing professional development (CPD) points for registration as part of the Guidelines of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Reimbursement of Course Costs
Reimbursement of course costs for completion of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid by an approved provider can be claimed by Oxley members. Prior approval by completing the Application for Pre-Approval to Attend a Course not offered by Cairns Nursing Agency is required before reimbursement will be considered. It would be appreciated if applications to attend a training course could be received at least 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the program.
